Spring Break

After a rough start to our break on Monday...it rained and rained and resulted in one too many bad moods....I decided to try to start Tuesday on a better note. These magical (that one's for you, Em :)) treats combined with praise music definitely helped!

Caroline ate all 6 pancakes. I guess that's what happens when you don't eat the night before?

To top off the day, we made a spontaneous decision to go to the beach in the late afternoon/evening. Rain is in the forecast all week and we were afraid that it would hinder us going today as was originally planned. It turned out to be a great time to go--no crowd, no sunscreen needed, and daddy came.
Caroline was so immersed in the fun it was practically impossible to get her to smile.
Well...normally, at least.
